<p>Last week there were reports going around that Konami had stopped working on all its big name franchises. It was said that all of the company's AAA game series would be abandoned apart from Pro Evolution Soccer.</p><p>Since then, as Throwing Digital Sheep discovered, Konami has responded to these reports, and has said that they are false.</p><p>For starters, Konami Europe's community manager Su-Yina Farmer suggested that the reports were false on Twitter. She stated: "I hope re-purposing speculation and rumour as news, isn't the new standard."</p>No Metal Gear left behind<p>But the more substantial response came from Konami support to an inquiring fan (via Reddit).</p><p>When asking if Konami would continue working on the Metal Gear Solid series, the support staff said the following:</p><p>"I can promise you that we're definitely not leaving Metal Gear behind or anything like that. I know some blogs were claiming that online this morning, but I'm not really sure where they'd be getting that from."</p><p>And later in the same response:</p><p>"We're still definitely working on console games and franchises such as Metal Gear, Silent Hill, Castlevania, PES and all the rest."</p><p>You can read the full response here.</p>Pachinko?<p>The response also mentions a previously announced Metal Gear game that is still in production.</p><p>We don't know what kind of game it is right now. It may end up being yet another of Konami's weird erotic pachinko games (such as the Silent Hill and Castlevania one.) We'll have to see.</p><p>In any case, Konami is gearing up for a big push on mobile moving forward. We just hope that this doesn't mean pachinko machines for mobile too.</p>SiliconeraThe carcase of a beauty spent and done.
You will have to fight zombie attacks from a lot of different regions, and of course, along with the emergence of more powerful new zombies and more new plants. You will need to pass each door to reach the next door and unlock new crops.AN OLD WOMAN having lost the use of her eyes, called in a Physician to heal them, and made this bargain with him in the presence of witnesses: that if he should cure her blindness, he should receive from her a sum of money; but if her infirmity remained, she should give him nothing. This agreement being made, the Physician, time after time, applied his salve to her eyes, and on every visit took something away, stealing all her property little by little. And when he had got all she had, he healed her and demanded the promised payment. The Old Woman, when she recovered her sight and saw none of her goods in her house, would give him nothing. The Physician insisted on his claim, and. as she still refused, summoned her before the Judge. The Old Woman, standing up in the Court, argued: "This man here speaks the truth in what he says; for I did promise to give him a sum of money if I should recover my sight: but if I continued blind, I was to give him nothing. Now he declares that I am healed. I on the contrary affirm that I am still blind; for when I lost the use of my eyes, I saw in my house various chattels and valuable goods: but now, though he swears I am cured of my blindness, I am not able to see a single thing in it.""And why didn't he?"
<p>Nintendo has confirmed that a new level is being added to Splatoon 2's multiplayer rotation. But don't expect it to pop up all the time, as it's only going to be available during Splatfest events.</p><p>The map is called Shifty Station, and it's going to be different every time you play on it. So when Nintendo says shifty it means that the level alters itself, not that it's a dodgy sort of place where no self-respecting Splatoon-er would ever be caught dead.</p><p>The first Splatfest is scheduled to start this weekend, and it revolves around ketchup and mayo. Which side will you choose in the great condiment war?</p><p>If you've not played Splatoon 2 yet, maybe this snippet from our review, where we gave the game a Gold Award, will sway you:</p><p>"Splatoon 2 remains one of the most fun and inventive shooters we've seen this generation, and one every Switch owner should have in their library."Gamespot</p>Or any of my leisures ever charmed.
