2、"Mischief--mischief! What else did they ever do?"Strange planet(Mod Menu)Anne slipped noiselessly from the veranda and found her way across the yard. Beyond, she heard voices in the gloom and saw the dim glow of a light. At the gate she met two men--Captain Jim with a lantern, and another who she knew must be Dick Moore--a big man, badly gone to fat, with a broad, round, red face, and vacant eyes. Even in the dull light Anne got the impression that there was something unusual about his eyes.

There was a touch of the seer about him tonight--he spoke as one to whom it had been given to speak. Well, I must be going, too."
If you're one of those people who really loved Blade Runner 2049 and have been wondering how to get more out of the film without wearing out your DVD, then Next Games' mobile game take on the movie might be worth a look, and it's just gone into open beta on Android.

As spotted by our sister site PocketGamer.biz, Next Games' Blade Runner 2049 has you collecting characters from the series to battle enemies and complete quests. Think Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes with a bit more noir and bit less Wookie and you're probably on the right track.

There's also a multiplayer component, letting you team up with your buddies to take on bigger challenges and form "resistance cells". So, clans then.

Personally, I thought Blade Runner 2049 was a load of old tosh, but we could argue for days about the particulars on that hot take and not get anywhere. The game looks alright though, and with Next Games having made a name for itself with two quality The Walking Dead titles, it appears to be in safe hands.

All that said, I can't for the life of me work out where to sign up for the open beta of Blade Runner 2049. We also don't know when it's coming out for everyone, but it's nice that we have at least some details now, right? Watch this space in case we learn anything else.

Who can really say they're utterly surprised by this news overall? After the legend himself, Miyamoto, strolled onto the stage to announce Nintendo's newest game, Super Mario Run, the internet simply blew up.

Overnight Nintendo saw their shares spike by 28% by the time the markets closed, probably a welcome event after their fall when investors realised that Pokemon GO was developed by Niantic instead. Though, bringing Pokemon GO to the Apple Watch might sweeten the deal a little.

The biggest take-away from all of this however is that Nintendo has finally opened its doors, not only to the idea of working with other companies and creating tie-in products, but to the practice of bringing its games/characters a little further afield.

Oh what a day. What a lovely day.
