KartRider Rush+ has proven popular since it launched earlier this year, having accrued over 10 million downloads on Google Play alone. Numbers like that were inevitably going to lead to collaborations at some stage and Nexon's first for their kart racer sees them teaming up with Hyundai.

This will see the addition of a new in-game kart that's modelled on Hyundai's sport sedan, the Sonata N Line. Alongside this new ride, there will also be an event for players to take part in that will run until October 18th.

Running, jumping, fighting, twisting, spinning, are all things you'll try doing in a dungeon to avoid dastardly traps... but hopping? That's another thing entirely, and Hoppenhelm is full of it.

We have not just been heard, but ourself interacted with dragons in some way or the other, through games, magazines, movies, etc., but always in somewhat from a third-person perspective. But here is a game from JumpStart, which serves the dragon’s fantasy, is a slightly different platter with uniqueness and other values. The game is not among the competitions because it has the additional element of roleplay.

The self-proclaimed "most challenging puzzle game on iOS," Zengrams, is on sale right now for 69p / 99c.

Does it live up to its claim? If you think 66% off £1.99 / $2.99 is a good bargain, you can find out now on the App Store.

Zengrams is an abstract puzzle game about rearranging shapes into various designs with a limited number of moves.

It's published by Gameblyr, who previously released the Silver Award-winning Pathogen and the Bronze Award-winning Third Eye Crime.

Grab it on the App Store for more than half off if you're up to the challenge.

If the Monster Hunter series has one problem, it's in finding new players. Common complaints from newcomers are the controls being clunky, and attacking too slow and unresponsive.

While I can't say these issues have been resolved - they're an integral part of why old hands still love the game - 4U does its very best to drop you into the core experience right away.

You're the only hunter in a new caravan of misfits, so it's your job to help out your crew and other NPCs by defeating big ol' beasties and completing the odd fetch quest as you travel from one base camp to the next.

Most quests from the guildmarm revolve around slaying, or capturing, a monster. These beasts would be bosses in any other game. They're often large, and can take the better part of an hour to defeat if you aren't experienced.

Indeed, a few monsters near the start of my journey took several attempts (a few hours) to get past. I was too hasty with my attack style at first, so I kept being knocked around until I failed the mission.

Monster Hunter is all about learning each monster's attack patterns and weak points, and which weapon type your play style is best suited to. It's a huge time sink, but once you're on the hook you won't even notice the hours melting away.

You can't level up your character in Monster Hunter. Instead, you boost stats with weapons and armour. These can be bought ready-made from the armoury, but it soon becomes apparent you need the smithy to fashion your gear if you want to make any progress.

The smithy can only make weapons and armour from monster drops, and it's recommended you work towards a custom set built around the skills you want to use most.

There are many more advantages in completing an armour set rather than mixing and matching. It's not just about defence, but also skills like improved evasion, resistance, gathering skills, or even chances to stun enemies.

Peculiarly, there's a shared sentiment between Monster Hunter and Animal Crossing. Acquiring monster parts to complete sets of armour isn't unlike maxing my feng shui rating with a furniture set, and there's a seemingly neverending number of weapon and armour combinations to discover.

That's not all you're collecting though. Scattered across each map are ore deposits, bug nests, fishing spots, and berry bushes. Many of the items you'll find at each can't be bought, and combining them is key for stronger potions, ammo, and even smithy goods.

You'll start the game with a default Palico, formerly known as a Felyne. This kitty will join you on the battlefield and help fend off monsters, heal you, and gather the occasional batch of spoils.

More are recruitable once you reach four-star quests, at which point you can also start playing two minigames that reward you with scraps for Palico armour and weapons. One is a simple fishing game and the other is a short, cutesy battle adventure.

Your cat crew can level up through these minigames by joining you on quests, resulting in their abilities improving. Each kitty has a certain focus and special ability, like healing or treasure gathering. However, you can only take two cats with you in single player, so think carefully as to what you need assistance with most.

Aside from quests, you can also go on expeditions, where you'll fight two monsters and have a chance to discover rare items, a new Palico, or even a new outfit for your pet Poogie.

There's also the multiplayer mode, which is where most experienced hunters will say you'll have the most fun. As you can imagine, the gathering halls are a tad sparse at the moment, but the few quests I've had with three other players have been an absolute blast.

The most fun battle I've had so far was in single player though, on a ship between two base camps. There, I fought the Monster Hunter 4's flagship monster, Gore Magala, in a great mix of close quarters combat and cannon fire.

Some areas in the new stages are tiered, meaning you can attack monsters from above, and even mount them to give them one heck of a beatdown. One of 4U's two new weapons, the Insect Glaive, also enables you to launch yourself into the air for repeated mounted attacks even in flat areas.

Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate seems like the deepest Monster Hunter so far. I haven't yet tried my hand at wielding each weapon type and, despite 40-odd hours of game time, I feel like I've barely scraped the surface.

We'll have a review for you with more details on multiplayer and what to expect later in the game ahead of Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate's February 13 release date.

Heard of Agar.io? Whether yes or no, it's now available on iOS and Android so you can play it on the go with new touchscreen controls, if you wish.

You've probably seen a YouTuber play Agar.io already. It's very, very popular right now. Why? Who knows - it just is.

It's an online multiplayer game in which you're on a mission to become the biggest cell around. Doesn't sound too great but it's more fun than that description may suggest.

You get bigger by gobbling up smaller cells and, when you're big enough, other players. The trouble is, you move slower the bigger you become, so chasing other players down to eat them up gets difficult.

Plus, unless you are the biggest cell around, you'll have other players to avoid as they try to gobble you up. It's a game of cat-and-mouse.

Luckily, you can also split your cell into smaller ones, launching them at other players to eat them up. This is how you can get them if you can't keep up.

However, breaking up into smaller cells puts you at risk as those smaller ones can be eaten up more easily than your bigger form.

That's all there is to the game. It's pure, simple competition that only requires the minimum amount of skill to play.

You can download it for free on the App Store and Google Play right now.

Scrappers initially released for Apple Arcade this year, back in April, where it was met with some excitement since it has been created by the developers of the PixelJunk series. Since launch, Q-Games has been hard at work on an update that is now available.

This major update introduces a plethora of gameplay features as well as a few quality of live improvements that will hopefully make this waste management beat 'em more enjoyable to play. The first of those changes is the addition of a little robot helper called S.C.R.A.P.

This AI-controlled companion will wander about collecting trash whilst throwing the odd piece your way to increase your stack combo count, like a co-op partner might in multiplayer. S.C.R.A.P has no combat prowess though but it will continue to deposit rubbish whilst you're in the midst of battle.

There's also been another change that will involve a robot, this time with an alteration to the overclocking system. Periodically the new Overclock Bot will appear in the stage with a fiery bubble sitting atop it. Players will have to wail on this until it bursts. Doing so will temporarily increase the character's speed, stacking limit and attack power. The Overclock Bot will appear in both singleplayer and co-op.

Beyond that, a few changes have been made to matchmaking. Now players will be able to enter a six-digit code so they can quickly enter a game with their friends. Meanwhile, you can also take part in random matches with other players who are queuing for that option.

They've also included an Auto-Catch system so players can catch trash without controller input and it's intended to ease new players into the game so can easily be turned off in the menu. Finally, garbage now has loot tiers so players can optimise what they collect. The tiers are Normal, Heavy, Special and Enemy.

Scrappers is available now on Apple Arcade, a subscription service that costs $4.99 per month.
