Fortunately he finds himself a catapult in the shape of a gigantic boot (called 'The Kicker'), and he's able to launch himself into the air. That's where you come in...The ControlsIt's your goal to keep Mr. C. in the air as long as possible, without slowing down and crashing into the ground. Our petite critter buddy has no wings, so he has to rely on other critters to stay airborne. The most convenient way to stay in the air is to smash into other wacky little monsters (called 'Batties') that he encounters in the sky. When you tab the screen, Mr. C. starts spinning like crazy and smashes into everything in front of him. When you hit something (like diamonds and monsters), Mr. C. bounces off and his speed and altitude will increase. Smashing into other flying monsters will not be enough, sometimes you have to bounce off the ground. Of course, this will reduce your speed and height. Fortunately there are boost / power-ups on the ground that can launch you again (like a super robot or a cannon). Mr. Critter will also find other creatures running on the ground whom he can use for even higher bounces. The KickerEvery game begins with launching Mr. Critter by kicking him with a giant boot (tough love?). Adjust the power and trajectory to launch our silly friend into the air. The Kicker can be improved by buying upgrades or unlocking new versions. You start out with a basic boot Kicker, but you can unlock a battering ram, cannon, ray gun etc. Use diamonds to purchase items in the store. These diamonds can be found throughout the levels and inside loot chests, which appear after a certain distance.Upgrade the kicker for:- Better accuracy when aiming- Powerful kicks- Extra kicks, for when you're about to crashThe CritterUpgrading the Kicker will not fix all the problems for our wacky little monster. Give him upgrades and perks by collecting stars. These stars can be earned by reaching a certain distance or by leveling up. It's set in a grand academy pitched somewhere between Hogwarts and Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters, and it's heading straight for an iOS and Android launch on June 19th.According to the game's Steam page, you can expect a large focus on exploration, puzzles, and story. The academy looks to be an inviting and varied video game locale, packed with hidden secrets to uncover and challenges to overcome. While it's visually welcoming, there are said to be darker, more dangerous corners to avoid.

Rodeo Games might no be dead and buried yet folks. Despite rumors and members of the team explaining how Rodeo Games, makers of the Hunters series and Warhammer 40K: Deathwatch, was technically dead and wouldn't support its games with bug-fixes moving forward.Yesterday, Rodeo reacted to the news with the following communiqué:"Due to inaccurate reports in the press over the last few days and the questions we’ve received regards the future of Rodeo we thought it was best we update everyone to let you know what’s been happening.As reported some of the team left the studio back in November, after we’d shipped the iOS and PC versions of Deathwatch. Since then the core team have been working on new platforms for Deathwatch, one of which we’ll be announcing shortly!Despite Deathwatch being the best game we’ve created as a studio and our highest rated metacritic game, the changes in market have meant that we are unable to continue development as we’d initially planned. Coupled with some personal issues within the team, Rodeo Games are currently taking a break from developing any new titles. The team will continue to support our existing titles.We’d like to thank all our fans, especially those who have followed us since the beginning.
