If you've been waiting for the 3DS version of Shovel Knight then developer Yacht Club Games has a little gift for your patience.It's a cross-platform discount exclusive to Europe, Australia, and New Zealand that will be available until the end of 2014.Basically, if you buy Shovel Knight on 3DS or Wii U, you get a 33 percent discount for the game on the other Nintendo platform.Yeah, it's not as good as PlayStation's cross-platform deals, in which you only buy the game once to get it on all PlayStation platforms, but it's something.Despite this announcement, Yacht Knight still hasn't given a release date for Shovel Knight on 3DS in Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. It's already out in the US, of course.It did remind us what the 3DS version has that other platforms don't, though: stereoscopic 3D, a StreetPass Battle Arena, and Play Coin support.We'll let you know if we hear anything more about that release date.....

Much like last year, Pokemon Masters Ex is celebrating the festive season with the addition of two holiday-themed Sync Pairs and an in-game event called Deck the Halls. These Christmassy Sync Pairs will be Erika & Comfey as well as Skyla & Togekiss.Erika & Comfey will be a Fairy-Type duo that will have a move called Lei Up! which will restore all of the HP to your allies. Skyla & Togekiss meanwhile are a Flying-Type Sync Pair with the move Tri-Attack. This has a high chance of leaving the target either Paralyzed, Burned or Frozen. Both pairs will have their own Spotlight Scouts that will be available until December 31st.There will also be an in-game event for players to participate in called Deck the Halls. This follows the newly added Sync Pairs as they look to decorate a large tree in time for Christmas.
